The Russell Trust Development Awards (Staff)
The Russell Trust Development Awards (Staff) for 2012 have now been decided. 35 applications were received seeking funds of £110,089.20. The available funds of £10,000 were disbursed to five applicants as follows:

Professor David Cole-Hamilton, School of Chemistry
Amount Awarded: £1,000.00
Project Title: University of Scotland Inorganic Conference (USIC) 2012.
Dr Michael Downes, Music Centre
Amount Awarded: £2,000.00
Project Title: St Andrews Voices: Scottish Opera double bill of new one-act operas.
Dr Tom Rice and Dr Joshua Yumibe, School of Philosophical, Anthropological and Film Studies
Amount Awarded: £2,500.00
Project Title: Cinema St Andrews.
Professor Nigel Rapport, School of Philosophical, Anthropological and Film Studies
Amount Awarded: £2,500.00
Project Title: Rethinking Humanism: An International, Interdisciplinary Conference.
Awards are open to all members of University staff seeking support for a work-related project and have an upper limit of £5,000.
Applications for 2013 will be invited in late January 2013 and will be promoted via the Friday Memos and via all Heads of School/Unit. An application form and guidelines will be available to download from this website at that time.
