Applications for Russell Trust Awards for 2013 are now invited.  These awards are available to postgraduate students who require funds in order to support travel costs connected with their research.  To be considered for an award, students must be registered for a research degree at the University.  A project must have the support of the student's supervisor and of the appropriate Head of School/Department, whose permission must be sought before an application is made.  Applicants should be aware that the maximum amount that can be awarded to any one student is £1,500.  Former recipients of the Russell Trust Awards (PG) are not eligible to apply.

The closing date is 3pm on MONDAY, 18 MARCH 2013.  Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.  Please ensure you read the Award Guidelines document, which is downloadable below.  Applicants should be aware that interviews for short-listed candidates will be held on Tuesday, 28 May 2013 and all applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by email no later than Monday, 3 June 2013.  Successful applicants can expect to receive their funds in July 2013.
