Tuition fees
Students normally domiciled in Wales, will have a Fee status of Home-RUK.
If you are a full-time, first degree student you may be eligible to apply for a Tuition Fee Loan from Student Finance Wales. Entrants will receive a tuition fee grant of £5,535 with the remaining £3,465 covered by applying for a Tuition Fee Loan. Loans are non-means tested and paid directly to the institution by the Student Loans Company.

Government loans and grants
Non-repayable Assembly Learning Grants up to £5,000 per year are available to students with a household income of £50,020 or less a year.
Maintenance / Living Cost Loans are also available to cover the cost of living away from home. The maximum Maintenance Loan for new students starting in September 2013 is £4,745

Repayments
From 2012, repayments on Tuition Fee and Maintenance Loans will start in the April after you graduate or leave University, provided you are earning over £21,000 a year.
