Tuition fees
Students normally domiciled in Northern Ireland, will have a Fee Status of Home-RUK
If you are a full-time, first degree student you may be eligible to apply for a Tuition Fee Loan to cover the full cost of your programme of study from Student Finance Northern Ireland. Tuition Fee Loans are non-means tested and paid directly to the institution by the Student Loans Company.

Government loans and grants
Non-repayable Maintenance Grants are available to students with an annual household income of £41,065 or less. A maximum grant of £3,475 is available to students with a household income of less than £19,203.
Maintenance loans are also available to cover the cost of living away from home. The maximum Maintenance Loan for new students starting in from September 2012 is £3,750. Regardless of household income all eligible students will be entitled to 75% on the maximum loan available.
Student support will be assessed with Tuition Fee Loan eligibility in a single application to Student Finance Northern Ireland.
