Degree Structure
Unlike other subjects in the University, there are no 1000 level Medicine modules. Successful applicants gain direct entry to the second year of the course and ‘first year’ medical students begin with 2000 level modules.
2000 level modules: Foundations of Medicine 1 and Foundations of Medicine 2.
3000 level modules: Medicine Honours 1 and Medicine Honours 2.
4000 level modules: Medicine Honours 3, Medicine Honours 4 and Medicine Honours 5.
All students are assigned to a personal tutor whom they must see at the beginning of the academic year. Tutors are also available for consultation at other times and are always ready to discuss any academic or other problems that may arise.
