Your offer - what does it mean?
An unconditional offer
This means that all the academic conditions required for entry have already been satisfied and an offer of a place has been made.
A conditional offer
This means that the academic conditions required for entry have not yet been satisfied. We will hold a place for you at the university until we receive evidence that you have meet these conditions. If you meet the conditions of our offer we will confirm your place.
How to respond
UCAS applications
All decisions and offers are made through UCAS Track and you should use UCAS Track to respond to our offer of a place. Useful guidelines may be found at UCAS TV Follow the link, then click on "Students".
Firm, insurance or decline?
We hope you will take up our offer of a place. You can hold up to two offers at UCAS, one firm choice and the other your insurance choice. Your insurance choice will often be an offer asking for lower grades in case you do not meet the grades required of your firm choice. If you wish to accept our offer you should indicate whether it is your firm or your insurance choice through UCAS Track.
You may wish to decline our offer, in which case you should also responsed through UCAS Track.
You must respond to your UCAS offer in good time to ensure that your place is not declined by default. Please refer to UCAS Track for details.
