Karim Rida Said Foundation Scholarships

The Karim Rida Said Foundation provides full or partial scholarships for Masters degrees at the University of St Andrews and other participating universities, depending on the level of financial need. The Foundation has been supporting students from the Middle East since 1984.

 

The Foundation asks that its scholars apply their new skills and knowledge in one of the target countries on completion of their course.

 

Eligibility 

 

Geographical Criteria:

Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria. Normally resident in the Arab world and not holding any form of British residency

Additional Criteria:

  • Good first degree
  • Under forty years of age
  • Chosen course of study must be of use to home country or the Middle East region
  • At least two years' work experience
  • Applicants must return to home country or a country of the Arab League for a set period
