Henry Dryerre Scholarship in Medical or Veterinary Physiology
In 1989, the Royal Society of Edinburgh received the entire estate of the late Mrs Agnes Dryerre, to establish a fund to be used principally to support research in Physiology. The Fund is named after her late husband, Henry Dryerre, who was a Professor of Veterinary Physiology at the Royal (Dick) Veterinary College, Edinburgh. The Henry Dryerre Scholarship is offered every three years to a graduate of a Scottish university holding a degree with first-class honours in medical or veterinary physiology, and is to be held at a Scottish institution.
Non-UK domiciled students are eligible to apply but the scholarship will only cover the cost of fees at the rate applied to UK/EU domiciled students. Further details are available on the Carnegie Trust website.
