Admissions Unit

St Katharine's West houses a number of departments including Admissions.   Various sections of Registry, Corporate Communications and Print & Design all share the same building

The Admissions team is responsible for co-ordinating all undergraduate and postgraduate (taught and research) recruitment activity, including study abroad and international applications to the University.

Scottish/RUK/EU admissions

Our UK/EU admissions team regularly visits schools and Higher Education Fairs in the UK and in Europe.

International admissions

There is an International admissions team, which attends many international academic fayres, visits schools and colleges throughout the world and liaises with overseas students who come to visit St Andrews to study either as graduating or visiting students.

Access

The Access team promotes the University in Scottish schools and colleges as well as ensuring that educational opportunities are available to all groups in society irrespective of their personal circumstances.

Collaborations & Study Abroad

The Exchanges & Study Abroad team manages the University's exchange agreements and Erasmus Charter; provides central administration and development of services related to outgoing student and staff mobility; markets study abroad to overseas students, agents and partner institutions; and selects and admits non-graduating students.

Postgraduate Admissions

The Postgraduate Recruitment team attend UK and international events and exhibitions, and advise on all aspects of the decision-making and application process for prospective postgraduate students.
