Assistant Warden Scholarships

All postgraduate students who take on the role of Assistant Warden in one of the halls of residence will receive an Assistant Warden Scholarship.  This scholarship means that an Assistant Warden will receive a remuneration package (details below) in return for specified duties/responsibilities within the hall of residence to which he/she has been assigned.  As an Assistant Warden you will be part of a relatively small team (probably consisting of a Warden and three Assistant Wardens).  You will be the first point of contact for the students and you will be called upon to exercise common sense and sound judgement, sometimes in crisis situations.  Your responsibilities will involve pastoral/welfare matters, but you will also deal with issues of discipline and you will have a role in supporting the hall committee in the valuable task of community-building.
