Arrival procedures

Student can move in from 10.00am on Saturday 7th September. Residents arriving by car, are encouraged to park in the Bute Car Park (as shown on the map reference 70and 70a), where student volunteers will meet you. Residents arriving by car are requested to leave their luggage in the car until they have 'signed in' with the Hall.

Residents who have a Room number beginning with NX, should go directly to the Annex on Queens Terrace (as shown on the map reference 72), all other residents should go to the Main Hall (as shown on map reference 71). Residents will be directed to the key collection point. Members of the Wardennial team, Hall Committee and volunteers will be on hand to help take residents to their rooms and answer queries.

If you are going to be arriving at Hall after 10pm on Saturday or Sunday, please call the Duty Warden on +44 (0)1334 46 7059. If you will be arriving after Sunday, please go to the Residence Manager's Office (8:45am till 3:45pm) or telephone the Duty Warden after these hours.

Getting to St Andrews

St Andrews has direct bus connections from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee. Leuchars rail station is located 5 miles away, and has regular bus connections to St Andrews. More information on how to get to St Andrews.

Parking

Residents arriving by car should park in the Bute Car Park, on Queens Terrace. Residence arriving with St Andrews Direct or Taxi will be dropped off at the Main Hall Front door or the Annex Front Door, at the 'Drop Off Only' reserved parking area. Parking on Queens Gardens is partially metered, with a max parking time of 2 hours; the area not metered is often filled up very quickly.

Refreshments

There will be Tea, Coffee and cold drinks as well as home baking, available to all in the Dining Room
