Arrival procedures

Students can move in from 10 am on the morning of Saturday 7th September 2013. Keys can be collected on site.

Students who expect to arrive outwith normal office hours of 9am to 5pm should contact accommodation@st-andrews.ac.uk so that alternative arrangements can be made for their keys to be collected from Out of Hours staff when they arrive in St. Andrews. Out of Hours staff are based in North Street at No. 93 and should they be out on site when a student arrives can be contacted on either +44 (0)1334 476161 or +44 (0)1334 463985.

Student support welcome helpers will be on site to issue keys, sign students in and provide directions, information and assistance where required.

Getting to St Andrews

St Andrews has direct bus connections from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee. Leuchars rail station is located 5 miles away, and has regular bus connections to St Andrews. More information on how to get to St Andrews.

Parking

Car parking is available free of charge on The Scores, Murray Place and on Murray Park however there are only a limited number of car parking spaces available.

There is a car park with metered parking nearby along Golf Place past the Royal & Ancient Clubhouse and Golf Museum, and there is metered on street parking closeby.

Refreshments

Refreshments - teas, coffees, juice , water and biscuits will be available on site for students and their parents during arrivals weekend. Student support welcome helpers will be available to provide these refreshments as required.

There are also a large number of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants located closeby on The Scores, Bell Street, Greyfriars Gardens, Church Street, Market Street, North Street and South Street.
