A Handbook for Members
The Court Members' Handbook (PDF, 949 KB) seeks to help members to understand the context within which they work, to set out the role and responsibilities of Court and its members, to explain the University's management structure, and to lay down a Code of Conduct which members are expected to observe.
It contains details on the following:
- Current Court membership and members' terms of office
- Induction and training opportunities for new Court members
- Relevant policies and procedures, such as Disclosure of Interests, etc.
- The legal constitution of the University Court
- The background history of the University
- The management structure of the University
- Standing Committees of the University Court, their remit and membership
