Keeping ahead
Today the University of St Andrews is the top rated university in Scotland for teaching quality and among the top rated in the UK for research.
We’re consistently rated in the top ten universities in league tables compiled by The Times, The Sunday Times, The Guardian and The Good University Guide.
Indeed, The Sunday Times described us as ‘the leading multi-faculty alternative to Oxford and Cambridge’.
We are proud of these accolades but we can’t afford to sit back. Continual investment is required to retain and enhance our position at the forefront of education provision.
We’ve already spent £45 million on a new interdisciplinary Medical and Biological Sciences Building. Now we need to match this with comparable investment in the faculties of Arts, Sciences and Divinity.
