Submission Guidelines
 

All submissions

  • If submitted material is still under development, please indicate.

  • Provide addresses for all hypertext links external to the School's pages. This includes addresses for University pages.

  • For internal links, please state clearly which page is to be linked to by either giving the page title or address.

  • All individuals must ensure that they own copyright or have permission from the copyright holder for the material submitted.

 

Documents for publication (eg. handbooks, timetables, forms)

  • Where an original document exists, eg. handbooks it is up to the individual to make all necessary edits before submitting for publication.

  • Most documents submitted in Word format will be converted to pdfs. (Unless further editing is required by the user).

  • It is up to the individual to maintain and keep all original documents. The original documents will not be kept by the web administrators.

 

Editing of web pages

  • The web administrators will edit all html pages where no original document exists.

  • When an html page requires small edits please print out the page and indicate on the print out what changes are required.

  • When sections within an html document require editing please write out the new sections (in email or in Word) and indicate clearly which paragraphs/sections of the existing page are to be replaced.

  • When an html page requires extensive editing, please cut and paste the material to Word and make the required edits. This document should then be sent to one of the web administrators to be converted to html.
