History in Orientation Week

The School of History participates in a number of events which run through the Orientation week.  For specific timings, see the Orientation Timetable which will be confirmed later in the summer.

• Subject Talks where you will find out more specifically about the approach and topics covered in first year subjects.  This is also an opportunity to explore the options for the additional courses you will take in your first year.
  
  
• Academic Fair where you can talk to members of staff and raise specific questions about their subjects and how they are taught.
  
  
• History Drop-in Coffee – a chance to meet lecturers, tutors and other history students in an informal setting.
  
  
• Advising– as part of the matriculation process you will be timetabled to meet your adviser to register your course choices for the next two semesters.
