Teaching and Research Interests

Religious history of Early Modern Europe, with particular emphasis on Renaissance and sixteenth-century Italy, the history of the book, and the history of the Catholic Church and Catholic Reform. Current research focuses on preaching and sermons in sixteenth century Italy.
