Welcome to Terrorism Studies at the University of St. Andrews

The Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence (CSTPV), established in 1994 at the University of St. Andrews, is Europe's first centre for the study of political violence.

CSTPV has been running its pioneering elearning based Certificate since 2006 and in 2008 introduced both full and part-time versions of the Postgraduate Diploma/MLitt in Terrorism Studies. In accordance with its commitment to life long learning all programmes have been designed for a flexible learning experience which suits both residential students as well as distance learners.
